CERBASI, Valdythe Thelma

Valdythe Thelma Cerbasi (formerly Stone), moved up to the stars on July 20th, 2023, to join her cherished daughter, Jan Marie Sparks, & husband, Thomas Vears Cerbasi.


Val was born on February 23rd, 1926, & married Tom on July 23rd, 1949. Val will forever be loved to the moon & back by her three granddaughters, Olivia Sparks, Jessica Sparks-Schaefer, & Rebecca Bull, as well as seven great-grandchildren, Bertram, Max, James, Bo, Ruby, Isobel, & Savannah.


Although Val did not play an instrument, she danced like no other & was instrumental in the joy, care, guidance & support of her family. Whether ice-skating, snow-skiing, sea sailing, bookkeeping, romance reading, homemaking, garden growing or brandied-kumquat cooking, Val was a true super woman, wife, mother & friend, beside her family through it all, their hopes & dreams her own.
