We sadly announce the passing of William Elliott Barnett (Bill), aged 97 years, on 24/06/2025, peacefully, in Mayflower - Edith Bendall Lodge, Pascoe Vale.
Beloved father of Helen and Robert, husband of Patricia, and father-in-law of Lawrence and Denise. Bill lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, a passion for all kinds of sport and the telling of many stories that touched and entertained everyone he met.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Bill’s long and fruitful life will be held at the La Trobe Golf Club with details to be shared at a later time.
