Faithful servant you worked all your life for this moment. God saw that you were weary, now you can rest in peace with Mum and the others who have waited so long.
Love Jacinta and JP

A larger than life figure and wonderful friend to so many, to us, you were simply Uncle Gerard or UG. We were so fortunate to have you as a member of our family. We will always be grateful that we shared so many happy times and gatherings with you, often around our shared love of the North Melbourne Football Club. The love you had, and the way you cared for our Mum and Grandmum Mary, meant more than you could know. Your support, love and friendship, especially, through the hard times will always be treasured. Always loved and never forgotten.
Malia, Breeanna and Caitlin

An extraordinary man, Son, Brother, Priest, family counsellor, radio host and above all a treasured Uncle and Great Uncle. You will be missed so much at our family celebration's and watching North Melbourne won't be the same without you.
Love and miss you already. RIP Uncle Gerard
Catherine, Colin, Brent, Ryan and Alannah

In fond memory of our dearly loved and much respected Uncle Gerard. You were a loving Son to our Grandparents Jack and Cathie and a caring Brother and Brother-in-law to our dear Parents Brian and Barbara (all deceased). We feel so fortunate to have had the privilege of experiencing your kindness, passion, joy, care, love, guidance and humour. We are as proud of you and your outstanding achievements as we know you were of us. Our time with you and our memories of you will be cherished forever, know that you will be dearly missed and held in our hearts always.
Much loved Uncle of Leonie, Jacqueline, Daniel, Michael, Siobhan and Gregan and our Partners Bernie, Geoff, Alana, Janet, David and Liz.
Adored Grand Uncle of Justin and Simon, Chloe, Georgia and James, James and Caitlin, Sophie, Harry, Noah, Oscar, Bronte, Emmerson, Geordie, Lara and Jamie.

"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand."
