Welcome to the Mount Rushmore State! South Dakota offers truckers a journey through some of the most distinctive scenery in the American Midwest, from the wide-open Great Plains and rolling grasslands to the dramatic rock formations of the Badlands and the winding, forested roads of the Black Hills.
Travel through cities such as Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Pierre, discover small towns and local communities along the way, and visit some of the state’s most recognizable landmarks, including Mount Rushmore, the Corn Palace, and the Dignity of Earth and Sky sculpture.
There will be plenty of work waiting for you too, with new industries and depots offering cargo opportunities across the state, from manufacturing and construction to food production and agriculture.
Exploration is also a big part of the journey. Venture away from the major highways to discover scenic roads, unique landmarks, hidden details, and some of the natural beauty that makes South Dakota stand apart.
The South Dakota DLC for American Truck Simulator invites you to:
Explore 13 faithfully recreated cities, including Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Pierre, and more!
Discover 21 scenic towns and settlements across the state, such as Hot Springs, Wall and Sturgis.
Travel across a road network representing around 680 miles of real-world roads, with connections to Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Iowa.
See iconic South Dakota landmarks including Mount Rushmore, the Corn Palace, Sioux Falls, and the Dignity of Earth and Sky sculpture.
Deliver cargo to 10 custom depots and discover new industries, including trailer manufacturing, residential housing, and a landmark food production facility in Sioux Falls.
