Resident Evil Requiem preorders are starting to go live at major retailers, and there are multiple cool physical editions as well as themed first-party accessories in the works for the survival horror game's February 27, 2026 launch. Requiem is getting a $90 Deluxe Steelbook Edition for PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC. For the standard $70 base game, the Amazon Exclusive Edition comes with a double-sided poster.
Nintendo Switch 2 owners will also be able to get Requiem, Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil Village in one bundle called Resident Evil Generation Pack for $90. Village and RE7--and their DLC packs--launch on Switch 2 the same day as Requiem. Switch 2 owners will be able to play all three with a special-edition Resident Evil Switch 2 Pro Controller. Unless Nintendo surprises us before February, Resident Evil Requiem will be the first themed Switch 2 Pro Controller. The Pro Controller will be available on launch day and will be followed by a Grace Ashcroft Amiibo next summer.
