A leaked image for Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has confirmed that the game will have several live service elements. Verified by VGC, the image first appeared on 4Chan and is said to be from a recent test build.

Like other games in the live service field, Suicide Squad will have its own battle pass system that is focused on cosmetics and a currency for each hero that can be used to customize their individual skillsets. Players who are concerned that Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, and King Shark will be entering Metropolis in an underpowered state when the game starts won't have much to worry about, as an internal source told VGC that the game has a power-up curve similar to Batman: Arkham Knight.
"You don’t start off debuffed and weak," VGC's source explained. "You just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight's Batman."
For reference, Arkham Knight's Batman started off with all the usual tricks of his trade, and as the game wore on, could unlock skills and gadgets that allowed him to deliver absurd amounts of offense. From his usual ground-and-pound combat style, that version of Batman could eventually use his arsenal to knock out several enemies simultaneously, combo in finishers with the Batmobile, and sabotage heavily-armed mercenaries during stealth sections.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League's status as a live service game has been public knowledge for a while now and will feature the black ops group fighting to save the world from a Justice League that has been brainwashed by Superman villain Brainiac. The game features the final performance of Kevin Conroy as Rocksteady's Batman, after the legendary dark knight actor passed away in late 2022.
