The latest trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has renewed discussions about Peter Parker's controversial redesign, with some former detractors finally coming around to the web swinger's newer face. While Persona 3 voice actor Yuri Lowenthal has played Insomniac’s version of Peter Parker from the very first Marvel’s Spider-Man game, the wise-cracking hero of Marvel Comics lore originally looked very different. Actor John Bubniak served as the performance capture artist and inspiration for Peter’s unmasked character model in the PlayStation 4 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man, with many players praising his design for reflecting an older Spider-Man at the peak of his crime-fighting career.
