Stranger Things actor David Harbour had a nice exchange with a fan recently, as the two celebrated a shared love of...Fortnite and Chief Hopper.

Stranger Things Season 5 begins on November 26, and naturally, the cast is out and about on the press tour. Harbour wasn't around for the tour due to scheduling conflicts with the true crime thriller Evil Genius, according to Deadline. However, he was present during the sci-fi show's Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles. While autographing on the red carpet, a fan yelled at the New York actor that they "main [his] Fortnite skin."

"[Do] you get a grand master?" Harbour asks of the fan in a post by X user dkhsfeet. "What is it called?"

"100%," the fan replies. "Victory royale!"

"Victory royale!" Harbour exclaims, the crowd around him erupting in cheers, the cacophony of "Yeah!" flooding the speakers.

The fan is referring to the Chief Hopper skin, which is based on David Harbour's Stranger Things character, police chief James "Jim" Hopper Jr. The skin was first introduced in July 2019 as part of Fortnite's Stranger Things collab during the battle royale shooter's ninth season. Costing 1,500 V-Bucks, Chief Hopper made a few more appearances in Fortnite, though the last time it was in the item shop was August 2025.

Harbour has been in the headlines lately. A Daily Mail report from November 1 said that a source claimed Stranger Things costar Millie Bobby Brown filed a "harassment and bullying" claim against Harbour. Netflix reportedly investigated the claims "for months," which did not include allegations of sexual impropriety. Still, Brown was accompanied by a personal representative while on set for the final season, which wrapped up filming in December, and Netflix declined to comment on the claims in The Daily Mail's report.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, show creators The Duffer Brothers responded to the claims, saying that everyone on the team is "family." Director and executive producer Shawn Levy echoed The Duffer Brothers' sentiment, telling THR the team is "proud" to have created "a respectful workplace." Brown kind of addressed the claims as well after she and Harbour were seen during the show's Season 5 premiere posing for photos, telling Extra that it's been "amazing" to reconnect with Harbour and co.

In other Fortnite news, Epic Games' popular shooter has seen a plethora of collabs lately. KPop Demon Hunters' Huntr/x joined the skin department, with jam tracks looking to enter the vault as well. And now, Fox's The Simpsons have taken over Fortnite Island, with Ned Flanders being particularly deadly with a gun.
