The Nintendo Switch 2 is still available at Amazon by invitation. The Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle ($500) and console on its own ($450) first popped up on Amazon during Prime Day, a few weeks after Amazon started carrying first-party Nintendo products for the first time in over a year. Amazon notes the Switch 2 is a "high-demand item with limited quantities." Based on our own testing, what we've seen online, and Amazon's published sales figures, "limited quantities" is relative here. Amazon says it has sold over 20,000 Mario Kart World Bundles over the past month, which is really just two weeks.
While you wait for your invitation to (hopefully) arrive, you can check out Amazon's expanding inventory of Switch 2 games, accessories, and Amiibo. Below, we've rounded up all of the first-party Switch 2 products Amazon has recently added to its storefront. Just within the past few days, Amazon refreshed its official Nintendo store page to showcase Switch 2 games and first-party accessories. For even more Switch 2 products, check out our giant roundup of third-party accessories we published around launch.
Official Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories at Amazon
Over the past few weeks, Amazon has listed all of the official Switch 2 accessories made by Nintendo, including the excellent new Pro Controller, Joy-Con 2 Controller 2-Packs and singles, racing wheels for Mario Kart World, and more. Just know that Amazon, like every other major retailer, is sold out of the official carrying cases. The list below also includes a couple of the most popular officially licensed third-party accessories like Samsung's 256GB microSD Express Card and Hori's Piranha Plant Camera, which looks cool but isn't good.
A few of the accessories, including the Switch 2 Pro Controller, are sold out at Amazon as of July 20. The Switch 2 Pro Controller is in stock for $84 at Walmart--Amazon, like Walmart, has some accessories and games listed one dollar below MSRP.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller -- $84 | Sold out
- Joy-Con 2 Controller 2-Pack -- $94
- Joy-Con 2 Charging Grip -- $40
- Joy-Con 2 Racing Wheels (2-Pack) -- $25

- Donkey Kong and Pauline Amiibo -- $30
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Amiibo
- Street Fighter 6 Amiibo
Nintendo Switch 2 Games at Amazon
Nintendo's new and upcoming Switch 2 games are available at Amazon as well. Neither Amazon nor Nintendo has ever commented on what led to the removal of all first-party Nintendo products from sale at the online retail giant. Amazon stopped selling Nintendo Switch games in early 2024. Before long, all of Nintendo's most popular games, official accessories, and even Switch Online subscriptions were removed from sale. This also happened at Walmart around the same time, but Walmart and Nintendo resolved their differences before the holiday season.
Great third-party Switch 2 accessories
As mentioned, Amazon has a vast and ever-growing selection of third-party Switch 2 accessories. With the Switch 2 Pro Controller and carrying cases being sold out, we'd recommend checking 8BitDo controllers and RDS Industries carrying cases. 8BitDo's Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller retails for $70--but you can sometimes get it for $63--and has more customization features than the official Pro Controller. RDS Game Traveler Deluxe carrying cases and bags are officially licensed by Nintendo and sell for about half the price of Nintendo's cases. The Game Traveler Deluxe Large Carrying Case is comparable to the $85 All-in-One model from Nintendo, but it retails for only $40 and was just restocked at Amazon. RDS Industries also makes a great hardshell carrying case for Switch Pro Controllers that's in stock for $20 at Amazon.

content_text: The Nintendo Switch 2 is still available at Amazon by invitation. For even more Switch 2 products, check out our giant roundup of third-party accessories we published around launch.Official Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories at AmazonNintendo Switch 2 first-party accessories Over the past few weeks, Amazon has listed all of the official Switch 2 accessories made by Nintendo, including the excellent new Pro Controller, Joy-Con 2 Controller 2-Packs and singles, racing wheels for Mario Kart World, and more. Just know that Amazon, like every other major retailer, is sold out of the official carrying cases. The list below also includes a couple of the most popular officially licensed third-party accessories like Samsung's 256GB microSD Express Card and Hori's Piranha Plant Camera, which looks cool but isn't good.A few of the accessories, including the Switch 2 Pro Controller, are sold out at Amazon as of July 20. The Switch 2 Pro Controller is in stock for $84 at Walmart--Amazon, like Walmart, has some accessories and games listed one dollar below MSRP. Great third-party Switch 2 accessoriesRDS Game Traveler Deluxe Carrying Case | 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth Controller As mentioned, Amazon has a vast and ever-growing selection of third-party Switch 2 accessories.
