Passed away peacefully at Flinders Medical Centre with family. Much loved husband of Phyllis (dec'd). Adored and loving Dad of Christine and Linda (dec'd) and loving father-in-law to Smurph (dec'd) and Martin. Loving grandad of Debbie and Rebecca and great grandad of Sam and Patrick. Loved uncle of many. Derrick was a kind and gentle man, always supportive and patient to others. Quietly spoken, Derrick grew up as a child in war torn England, his post war army service in Germany changed his life significantly for the better. He brought his family to Australia for a better life in 1968. A calm and steady support for Christine. Private direct cremation at Dads request. No flowers please. Any cards to Christine at PO Box 2443, Normanville 5204. Many thanks to Derrick' carers especially all staff at Eldercare Seaford. Forever in our hearts.
