Graham Gale Duffield (Gale), born at Townsville in 1932, died at Sunshine Coast on 10 February 2025. Gale was for many years a Townsville pharmacist, operating the family business Duffields' Pharmacies that opened in 1924; moving later to Brisbane as an Army pharmacist, before taking retirement on the Sunshine Coast. In 1963 he married Nancy May Smith, a teacher from Yarraman, beginning an unbroken and devoted, partnership and friendship. Gale is survived by Nancy, his daughters Anita and Susan , sister Myrna, brother Lee, and their families.
