Late of Zilzie, formerly of Nambour and Hervey Bay
Beloved husband of Dulcie (d); Cherished father of Ken, Lorelle, Dale and their families; Grandfather to Adam, Kyle, Ben, Rachel, Callum & Atticus, Great-grandfather to Bella (d), Noah and Nora.
Vince grew up on the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. A gifted singer and musician, he held many leadership positions in the Nambour Corps of the Salvation Army, before retiring to Hervey Bay where his involvement continued. In the time when sugar was key on the Sunshine Coast, he worked for the Cane Growers Committee from 1965 before retiring as Secretary in 1998. His strong faith, contagious humour and resonant voice will be remembered by all who met him.
Family and Friends are invited to attend Vincent's funeral service to be held at The Salvation Army Church, Nambour at 10:30 am Monday May 19 followed by a gathering at the church. Burial at Kulangoor Cemetry at 1:30 pm follows.
