ALLOM, Anthony John 'Tony'
Anthony John Allom 'Tony'
On behalf of my children, their partners and my grandchildren I would like to thank all who attended the Thanksgiving Mass for my dearest husband Tony Allom on Friday 17th February at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Toowoomba. Tony passed away suddenly at St Andrews Hospital on Sunday 12th February, 2023.
To his workmates of 38 years service at Myer, St Patrick’s Family Group, Parishioners of St Patrick’s cathedral, the Toowoomba Bonsai Group, St Thomas Mores Men For All Seasons, 25 RQR Battalion and the many friends we collected over 53 years of married life, thank you for your loyalty and your friendship, and also for being there to celebrate his life. To Father Michael and Father Peter, thank you for celebrating this Mass he would have been pleased. To the organist and the cantor thank you. To our friends who sent flowers, cards, visited, telephoned and provided meals, pikelets and slices I send you many thanks. To my daughter for the valuable help in getting you ready for the day, thank you. I could not have done it without your help. To my son and his loyal friends' plus one, thank you for the clean table and backyard. It was a mammoth job. Please accept this as my personal thank you.
