It is with great sadness that we announce our Dad, Grandpa, Pappa, Great Grandpa, Father-in-Law, Brother, Uncle, Friend, Teacher Albert Thomas Gad (Al, Tom) died peacefully yesterday, 29 April 2025 surrounded by family. 1 day before his 83rd birthday.
Dad, the forever educator donated himself to the University… “his last lesson” and at this time we remember one of his favourite quotes:
“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives” - Jackie Robinson #42
Dad, we hope you are now happily playing baseball in the sky.
We will be celebrating dad’s full life with a small family gathering and would love to invite those who’s lives dad touched to share a memory or story about him that we can share to celebrate his life. Memories can be sent to jacobgad@gmail.com
