Beloved wife of Vince (deceased), sister of Bob and Pearl (deceased) and the eldest member of her Doyle family. Loving mother of Vida, Michelle, Janelle and Alison. Adored grandma of Ben, Jason, Louisa, Lisa, Shaun, Brendon and Morgon. Super special great-grandma (GG) of Xavier, Vida, Kyan, Lilli, Fabian, Seth and Luther.
Joan was devoted to her family. There is nothing she enjoyed more than spending time together, enjoying a good meal and fitting in a game of cards when she could.
Joan was a longstanding national master and a highly respected member of the Brisbane Northern Suburbs Bridge Club She was renown for her skill and her bright smile and humour at the table. Joan was also a nurse before her retirement and loved her catch up with her friends from the Prince Charles Hospital.
Thank you for all of your strength, love and laughter. You were the centre of our world and will be in our hearts forever.
