Allen, Samuel, First Class Constable served Tasmania Police since 2010. Throughout his service he had an incredible reputation. Sam’s commitment to his profession, his enthusiasm and motivation; together with his love for Tasmania, will be long remembered. He formed close, meaningful bonds with his Tasmania Police colleagues at Hobart, Glenorchy, Bellerive, Bridgewater, RDS and RPOS and he has been an inspiration to all of us while he has faced his cancer battle. His loss will be felt deeply across the agency and by all who knew him.
The Commissioner, Members and Employees of Tasmania Police are saddened by his passing and extend their deepest sympathies to Sam’s wife Andy and their children, Sarah, Thomas, Jessica and Isaac.
