DANSIE, Hampton Neil
It is with great sadness that I advise you that our Patron Hampton Neil Dansie OAM passed away at the age of 94. Neil 'Nodder' Dansie OAM had a great passion and influence across all facets of cricket, including as a long serving Patron of SACUSA. His enthusiasm for the game and positivity will be sadly missed. Neil gratefully accepted our request to be our patron during the 2008/2009 season and was an active participant in many of our functions during his time as patron. Prior to becoming our patron Neil was a friend of SACUSA and was always willing to have a friendly chat with any umpires. SACUSA would like to pass on our condolences to Neil's family at this difficult time.
