HOUSTON-HARRIS, Ellen
Ellen Doris Houston-Harris (1952 to 2025), passed away on 6th February, in Hobart, after a short illness. She was devoted to her husband, Peter, and her children, Eleri, Jacob and Caitrin and a cherished member of the community. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and her brothers, Paul and Mark. After graduating from the Swansea College of Art, University of Wales, UK, in 1984, she became an established architectural glass artist. Ellen excelled in the creative arts and is responsible for many prominent church stained glass windows throughout Australia. The funeral service for Ellen will be at 2pm on Thursday 12 February at St George’s Church in Battery Point, Hobart. There will be a wake at the family home afterwards at 8 Ellerslie Road. For friends and family wanting to view the funeral but are unable to attend, a video link will be available through the "St George's Online" which is on their web page: https://stgeorgesbatterypoint.org
