ANSELL, Brian Lloyd
Brian passed away peacefully at 7:15pm, 4 September 2024, aged 92 in the company of his valued carers and friends who visited him during the day and evening. Brian was a very generous man and attracted clever and creative people. He was admired for his quirkiness, left of field opinions, creative ideas and eccentricities. He strived for longevity and spent a great amount of time researching and perfecting that. He had a love for cooking and had a wide appreciation of all types of cuisine. Old age and family issues got the better of him in recent times. His last day was spent comfortably with the help of an amazing team of carers, including Lisa, Brad, Anna, Naomi, Marina, David, and his friend Charlie. Others that generously looked after Brian in the preceding few months included, Marian, Michael + others from the LuxeCare team and the Cabrini Palliative Care team. Thankyou to Dr Peter Bennett who generously made many home visits. Special thanks to Dr Simon Armstrong who helped Brian over many years with his ongoing health. Just last Sunday, Brian enjoyed a lovely Father's day with his daughter, Wendy. Brian will be missed greatly. He is now at peace with his mother and father and grandparents who he talked about often and contributed to the exceptional life he had.
