MELVIN, Grant
Grant passed away peacefully after a short illness. Grant was 66 years old, beloved son of Bob (deceased), step son of Bev, brother to Carol, Dawn, Tony, Sally.
Grant was an uncle to six nieces and nephews in WA and three nephews in NSW. Grant was known affectionately as Uncle Tubby by his NSW nephews. Grant was particularly close to his nephew Steve. They became good friends over the years, sharing many good and bad times.
Grant was very generous and would give his last dollar if he thought someone needed it more. He was easy going and his reactions to problems was often a shrug of his shoulders and a grunt. Grant was married but sadly it didn't work out. Grant found a feral kitten, named her Cutie and gave her a home. She became the love of his life. As a brother Grant was smart and funny, and always there to help. He had a wicked sense of humour.
Grant, we will miss you.
