BAXTER, Ray
The Directors, Staff, Coaches and Players of the Western Bulldogs Football Club mourn the passing of Ray Baxter.
The Club recruited Ray in 1958 and he played 80 games in the Red, White and Blue up to his final season in 1964.
Off the field, Ray had an extraordinary impact on the Club, serving as a Board Director for five years before being elected Vice President in 1997, while also serving for many years in other voluntary capacities closely connected to the Club.
Ray will be forever remembered as an integral member of the Bulldogs family who made a lasting contribution to the Club.
We convey our deepest sympathies to Judy and all of Ray’s family members for their profound loss.
