CAIAFA, Janice

Caiafa, Janice Mary (Jan)

Jan passed away peacefully, aged 84, in the early hours of 21st December, after a short illness, surrounded by her family. Since 2021, she had been in the compassionate care of Berengarra aged care facility, in Kew.

Much loved and cherished by her husband and primary carer, Mike, devoted mother to her four sons, Anthony, Michael, Peter and David.

Caring mother-in-law to Alison, Connie and Bless and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Alana and Nicholas.

Jan had an unending devotion to her family, and will always be remembered for her compassion, kindness and laughter. In her later years, she battled with dementia and was bed ridden for the majority of her last two years, but she never lost her sense of humour, enjoyment of music and her strong devotion to the Richmond football club.

Jan will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held for Jan, in accordance with her wishes.
