DE CASTELLA, Ross-Lyn Ann
DE CASTELLA, Ross-Lyn Ann (née Bowles).
Passed away peacefully on 16 July 2025, aged 80 years, unexpectedly after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Paul. Devoted mother of David and Sigrid, loving mother-in-law to Margaret and Antony. Adored grandmother of Natasha, Rachel and Adam. Ros was a strong, positive, and very passionate woman who seldom gave in. Her life was a kaleidoscopic rhapsody - from child prodigy pianist to devoted daughter, sister, and mother, to Social Worker, Family Therapist, and Gestalt Therapist (from which she never really retired). Her extraordinary talents healed so many, raising us up to achieve more than we thought was possible. She taught us to love, laugh, and live extraordinary lives. She is immensely missed, and unforgettable.
