MCSKIMMING, Brian Noel
Brian Noel McSkimming
22 March 1933 – 18 March 2025
Passed away peacefully in Hervey Bay, just days shy of his 92nd birthday. Loved husband of Vera and former husband of Patricia. Father of Donna, Jo-anne, Brian, Peter, and Catherine. Grandfather of Daniel, Andrew, Rebecca, Thomas and Phoebe and great-grandfather of Adaline, Edmund, Valerie, Spencer and Odette.
Brian served 22 years in the RAAF, living and working across Australia and in Malaysia. He was a man of many passions—gardens, birds, camping, fishing, cricket, swimming and a good barbie. Known for his sense of humour, his love of nature, and a fondness for safari suits and toweling hats, he brought adventure into our lives.
With heartfelt gratitude and respect to Vera, his devoted wife of 38 years, for the love, care, and companionship they shared to the very end.
Reunited with his mother Alma (Sally) and brothers John, Ken (Bugs), George and Peter.
In Memoriam Donna, Jo-anne, Brian, Peter, Catherine, Patricia and families.
